       Mr. Kyle Amon is FRRC's internet security and Unix systems associate, bringing his wealth of talent and significant experience to the team.

       Mr. Amon is currently (Jan. '97 - Present) the Unix Systems Administrator and Security Specialist for IBM GLOBAL SERVICES, where his responsibilities include network architecture, DNS administration and webmaster functions, including secure server and electronic commerce administration.  In addition, he performs advisory and hands-on roles in risk analysis, site security policies, firewall and router administration, as well as performing security audits and providing administrative and technical support for both IBM Intranet and IBM commercial customer websites.

       From 1995 to 1997, Mr. Amon was the Corporate Unix Systems Administrator at JABIL CIRCUIT, INC., a St. Petersburg (FL) based computer manufacturer.  He had primary systems/network responsibility for multi-vendor Unices across a heterogenous, international WAN.  His duties consisted of research, development, implementation, policies, documentation and highest level technical support for local MIS departments of seven manufacturing facilities worldwide.  In addition, he had sole responsibility for the design and administration of firewalls, both internal (between Jabil and customer networks) and external (between Jabil and the Internet).

       During 1996, Mr. Amon was a Technical Editor for MACMILLAN COMPUTER PUBLISHING - QUE & SAMS, doing contract work reviewing the technical accuracy and content of books and CDs in development.  Titles included: (Special Edition) "Using CGI", "Running A Perfect Website With Apache", "Webmaster's Expert Solutions", "Web Programming Unleashed" and "Apache Server Survival Guide."

       From August 1993 to the present, Mr. Amon has been the Sole Proprietor of GNUTEC, a primarily Unix oriented independent consulting service.   Past projects have included system installations/upgrades, remote administration services, network design/implementations, ISP connections, firewall installations, security audits, programming and general problem resolution.

       From October 1995 to the present, Mr. Amon has been the Sole Proprietor of WEBWONDERS, an internet consulting, website development and content hosting service with electronic commerce facilities in place.  In this capacity, he has designed and implemented the networks, firewalls and servers, contracting out most details and performing only administrative, project management functions as required.

       From March through June of 1995, Mr. Amon was contracted as a Systems Engineer with the ADVANTIS - IBM GLOBAL NETWORK, on the 1NET project, integrating the two distinct SNA networks, Advantis North (Sears heritage) and Advantis South (IBM heritage) into the worlds largest single SNA network.  During that project, he provided technical support for larger, dual-attached customers with emphasis on load-balancing, traffic-splitting and APPN/LEN connectivity.

       From April, 1989 through March, 1995, Mr. Amon was the Unix System Administrator for CUE SPORTS MARKETING, an international wholesale billiard supply distributorship.  At Cue, he had full systems and networking responsibility for Administration of terminals/servers and UUCP networking in a SCO Unix environment. Development, documentation and training.  Earlier, from 1988 to 1989, Mr. Amon was a teacher in the Pinellas County (Florida) school system.

       Mr. Amon holds SCO certification as an Advanced Certified Engineer (ACE) and memberships in USENIX (UNIX and Advanced Computing Systems Technical and Professional Association), SAGE (System Administrators Guild), NCSA (National Computer Security Association), and IDA (Internet Developers Association).  His Professional Education includes: Digital Unix V4.0 System Management, SCO OpenServer Release 5 Administration, SCO TCP/IP and SCO NFS: Administration and Configuration, Basic Communications: UUCP Administration, Shell Programming for System Administrators, and the AS/400 Network Connectivity Workshop.

       Mr. Amon was conferred his Bachelor of Arts (1988) from Eckerd College at St. Petersburg, Florida, where he entered on an early admissions program, having received a Special Talent Scholarship and completed his degree work in three years.
